# Inkrun

> Markdown → consistently themed PDF. Remote MCP server + REST API.

Inkrun converts Markdown into designed, deterministic PDFs. Agents call the
create_pdf MCP tool, or apps make one POST to /api/v1/render. Design comes from
templates (theme + accent + fonts + page size); content never carries styling,
so the thousandth document looks exactly like the first. Free tier: 50
renders/month.

Connect the hosted MCP server (https://mcp.inkrun.dev/mcp) to your AI client, then ask it to
"render this as a PDF with the <template> template." Create an API key at
https://inkrun.dev/api-mcp.

Claude Code — add the remote server with your API key:

    claude mcp add --transport http inkrun https://mcp.inkrun.dev/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer sk_..."

ChatGPT — enable Developer mode (Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced
settings), add a custom connector named Inkrun pointed at https://inkrun.dev/api/mcp with
Authentication = OAuth, and sign in once. (ChatGPT can't send static API-key
headers, so it uses the OAuth endpoint.)
