Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using Inkrun, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Inkrun on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

Inkrun converts Markdown you submit into themed PDF documents. Input is treated strictly as content — never as markup — and is rendered in an isolated headless browser. We may evolve, add or remove features over time.

3. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Keys are secrets — treat them like passwords.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content you have no right to process or distribute.
• Attempt to overload, probe, or circumvent the converter's input limits, rate limits, or quota enforcement.
• Use the service to produce unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.
• Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted.

5. Plans, quota and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis and include a monthly render quota. Quota resets each calendar month (UTC). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. See the subprocessor list for who processes payments on our behalf.

6. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the Markdown you submit and the PDFs you generate. You grant Inkrun the limited license needed to process your input and deliver the rendered output. Inkrun and its software, themes and branding remain our property.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that rendering will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inkrun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Inkrun at any time and request deletion of your data (see Your rights). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new version and last-updated date; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
